Mountain bike tours Southern Alps
It may not be as well-known as the Northern Alps, but the Southern Alps region has plenty of great alpine mountain biking on offer. From the Queyras to the Briançonnais, from the Écrins to the Mercantour, the area offers some of the most panoramic and playful singletrack in the whole of the French Alps. Anyone who’s taken part in the famous Transvésubienne will testify to the epic nature of the riding. And with towns like Briançon offering 300 days of sunshine a year, and a network of trails to die for, we can’t think of a better place to ride in France!
